“He is going before you” (Mk 16:7)

With the simple words to the women — the promise is revealed.  No more do we walk alone. Never again do we arrive in a new place without help or support — for the One we have followed goes before us.  When we arrive, the “advance operations team” has gone before us — and deposits grace in the spaces and places that we will need it.  

We never take a step without meeting the One who has been there before us — in the joy, in the sorrow, in the frustration, in birth, and in the loss.  For there is One who goes before us, “and there will you see him.”  (Mk 16:7)

For this is the day of Resurrection!

No going back
No living like it hasn’t happened
No putting the egg back together again
No walking alone
